Find the Import Contacts From a File subtab under the Contacts tab.


The imported contacts log is a snapshot of completed contact imports or current imports.

Contact Import Log Details

The "+" icon opens a snapshot of the import. You can view how many contacts were updated, inserted as new, had a duplicate member card ID, a duplicate mobile number, a duplicate email, no unique ID - meaning the email or mobile was blank, a bad email, or any other reason the contact was not able to import.


Column List Names

Each reward program contains the following default column names.

  • File Name: The File Name is the name of the CSV imported.
  • Uploaded Members: Displays the total number of contacts imported.
  • Successful Members: The total number of successful contacts imported.
  • Failed Members: The total number of contacts that failed to import.
  • Process Start Date: The time and date the import started processing the request.
  • Process In the Date: The time and date the import finished processing the request.
  • Upload Date: The date the file was uploaded.
  • Status: The status will read Completed, Processing, or Failed depending on the scenario.
  • Action: The eyeglass allows you to view failed contact imports and the reason the import failed.


Action Column Eyeglass

The action column eyeglass allows you to view a detailed analysis of why each member import failed. When clicked, the filter drop-down allows you to select the reason a group of contacts failed to import.


There are six failed categories including Bad Email, Duplicate Member Card ID, Duplicate Mobile, Duplicate Email, Email or Mobile Blank, or Other. Choose the appropriate category and press filter.


To export files to Excel, press the "Export To Excel" button. The export file will only contain the data you filtered. If you wish to export all failed contact imports, keep the filter on the default setting "Select Member Failed Reason" and press the "Export To Excel" button.


After analyzing and correcting the CSV file, the failed contacts can be re-imported.
