Find the Send an Email/SMS Campaign subtab under the Broadcast tab.


Manually send a broadcast campaign to contacts.

1a) Who Do You Want to Send to?

There are five ways to send manual broadcasts to members:

  • Send an email/SMS to all members in the selected list(s) below
  • Send an email/SMS to members who match my search criteria in the selected list(s) below
    • Filter sections (2a and 2b) appear only if this option selected 
  • Send an email/SMS to all members in the selected segment(s) below
  • Send an email/SMS to members who filter using following in the selected list(s) below
    • A pulldown list appears when this option selected choose from one of the preconfigured filters
  • Upload file from My Computer (6MB maximum)


1b) Select a Contact List(s)

Select the contact list(s) or segment(s) to receive the broadcast.


When finished, press the Next button.


2a) Filter Basic Details

On this page you may choose to filter:

  • Email Address: Enter an email address of a member you would like to broadcast.
  • Mobile Phone: Enter a mobile number of a member you would like to to broadcast.
  • Email Format: Enter the format, HTML or Text, broadcast condition you would like to apply.
  • Activity Status: Enter an Activity status conditions you would like to apply to the broadcast.


NOTE - This screen (2a and 2b) appears only if you chose the "Send an email/SMS to members who match my search criteria in the selected list(s) below" option in 1a.


2b) Custom Field Details

If you have any custom fields you have created, and would like to apply them as a filter condition, make the necessary selections.


When finished press the Next button.


3a) Select Your Campaign

  • Send This Email/SMS Campaign: Choose the campaign you would like to send.


After selecting a campaign, click preview to open the campaign template in another browser tab. 


3b) Forced Email/SMS Settings

Select one choice from this list:

  • Send an Email or SMS: end user profile preferred communication settings.
  • Send an Email: ignore end users profile preferred communication settings.
  • Send a SMS: ignore end users profile preferred communication settings.
  • Send an Email & SMS: ignore end users profile preferred communication settings.


3c) Email/SMS Scheduling Settings

Next, choose when to send your campaign and notification settings.

  • Send Your Email/SMS Campaign Now? Leave this option checked to send the campaign now. Uncheck the box to schedule the broadcast into the future.
  • Notify Owner About Sending? If you would like to be notified when the broadcast starts sending and ends sending, check this box and the business owner will be notified.


3d) Optional Repeat Feature

If you would like the broadcast to repeat, for instance, if sending a monthly or quarterly reminder, settings are applied here.

  • Is Repeat? If you would like the campaign to repeat, check the “Is Repeat” box.
  • Repeat Type: If choosing to repeat the broadcast, choose the repeat type. Each repeat type has different options:
    • Amount of Weeks: If choosing Amount of Weeks, choose to repeat every “1-96” amount of weeks, choose what day of the week you would like the campaign to repeat, choose what time of day you would like the campaign to repeat and how many times you would like the campaign to repeat.
    • Date Range: If choosing the Date Range option, choose the beginning and end date, choose what day of the week you would like the campaign to repeat, choose the time you would like the campaign to repeat, and choose how many times you would like the campaign to repeat.
    • Day of Month: If you would like the campaign to repeat on a specific day of the month, choose the day of the month, the time of day, and how many times you would like the campaign to repeat.


When finished press the Next button.


4) Schedule My Campaign

When you're ready to send or schedule your broadcast, press the "Schedule My Campaign" button.
