Broadcast Templates




Introduction

The broadcast templates are available at the Tools and Settings icon > Templates tab, Broadcast Templates sub-tab.  





Manage Templates

On this page, you will see all templates built or created inside the program. You can filter different types of templates by pressing the filter button and choosing All Templates, Built-In Templates, or Custom Templates.



To create a new template, on the Manage Template page, we can press the New Record button. 

 


You can also press the New Record button in the left menu and scroll down to Template. 

 


You can choose the type of template you'd like to create: a Smart Campaign, Email Broadcast, SMS Broadcast, or PUSH Broadcast. If you decide to send a PUSH Broadcast, everything will filter down to only PUSH settings. The same applies to SMS and Email Broadcasts. 

 


For this example, we will create a Smart Campaign and name the template New Template. You can Start From Default, which uses a pre-selected custom template, Start From Scratch, or use a Pre-existing Template.


In this scenario, we will use a pre-existing template. We'll also need to choose the category. Once the category is selected, we can determine which template to use. We can start from scratch or use one of the pre-created templates already in the system. Additionally, we can start from the default if a default template has been created for a reward program. 




Email Content

Once the template loads, we can customize the template to look however we wish, changing the images, columns, buttons, text, etc.  

 



SMS Content

Once finished, add the SMS content.  

 



PUSH Content

Add PUSH content if you use a mobile app and want to send PUSH messaging. 

 




Miscellaneous Options

In the miscellaneous section, you can make the template the Business's Default Broadcast if you want to use it as a starting point for every broadcast you create.  



You can Activate The Broadcast and specify whether the template is customized for a single business or available as a built-in template for everyone. 



If you create a Custom Template, it will only be available within the reward program you are currently logged into. However, you can make the template Public, which means that all program locations can access it. Alternatively, you can make it Location Private, which enables only specific locations to access it. Additionally, you can make it Business Private, which limits the visibility to the Business Owner.


 

You can press the Download Thumbnail button or drag/drop a Thumbnail image so you know which campaign you are referring to when visiting the broadcast templates page.   



If your user role allows you to create Built-In Templates, choose the category, and all reward programs will have access to the template.

 


When finished, press the “Submit” button.  

 


The new template will be created and added to the template page.
