Find the Create a Segment subtab under the Contact Lists tab
Create segments for the selected reward program and a specific contact list.
Contact Lists -> Create a Segment

Segments are pre-created filters used to organize your member list. The creation process consists of three steps.
1) Select a Contact List(s)
To create a segment, select the contact list(s) to use as the basis for the segment rule(s).
NOTE - The contact list(s) determine which fields become available in step #3 (Segment Rules).
Click the Next button.
2) Segment Details
In the segment details section, fill in these fields:
- Segment Name: Supply a memorable and descriptive segment name.
- Match Type: Choose whether all rules/conditions must be met to validate the segment or any of the rules/conditions can be met.
3) Segment Rules
In segment rules section, select the field, conditions and requirement columns for the segment rules in the Filter Members Where field.
- Use the field drop down list to select a field. Built-in fields appear first, then custom fields.
- Use the condition drop-down list to choose from among the various choices. Each field type has different conditions.
- Fill in the requirements column to complete the rule.
To create more than one rule for the segment, press the PLUS icon. Press the SUBTRACT icon to remove a conditional rule. Create as many conditional rules as needed for the segment.
When all conditional rules for the segment are added, press the Save button.
