The Create Web Forms subtab is found under the Forms tab.


The fourth type of web form (Refer-a-Friend) allows contacts to invite a friend to join the reward program.

NOTE - If you're a business owner and wish to edit your form, it's best first to make a copy of your form and make changes. Once satisfied with your changes, you can make the form the default Refer-a-Friend.


Step 1 - Refer-a-Friend Form Selection

When using the Refer-a-Friend form there is an option to make the form the default form if multiple forms are used. When an email broadcast sends, the Refer-a-Friend link will use the default form. You can learn more about the default profile in the Create an Email/SMS Campaign video.


If you wish to send a "Thank You Promotion Email or SMS," do so here. Alternatively, an autoresponder can be created to send an email and/or SMS immediately or after a given amount of time. You can also attach an immediate message to the contact list. More about attaching immediate SMS Message to a contact list can be found in the Create a Contact List video. The “Thank You Promotion Email/SMS” and Member List SMS, if attached, are sent within seconds, whereas autoresponder triggers send in a two-minute intervals. If you would like notification of new members details, check this box. If you anticipate a large audience, this feature can become a distraction.


Next, select Sender Profile and Choose Member List the contact will join upon sign-up.


Once complete, click the Next button.


Step 2 - Refer-a-Friend Page

Before making any changes to this page, it is to note, that the Administrator will no longer be able to make custom changes from the Edit Reward Program page (The Command Center) if manually made to any custom setting in the form. In the future, the Administrator must edit the form directly.


Colors can be changed using the editor, and options at the top of the page. Choose to attach a ” Free Gift” if promoting a "Join Reward Program Gift", if any, and select a sign-up form link. Only "Refer Promo" offers show in the “Free Gift” dropdown. Learn more about the Refer Promo offer in the Manage Offers video. Note, If you’re are sending a "Thank You" broadcast with an offer when the Account Profile Sign-Up form is completed or sending a Welcome Autoresponder message or giving an offer when a member joins a Member List, the new referred member will/can receive multiple offers. The Account Profile Form offer (if any), Autoresponder offer (if any), the Join Member List offer (if any), and the Refer A Friend offer on this page.


If you are a business owner, please speak to your account representative before making any changes.


Once complete, click the Next button.


Step 3 - Form Completion Page Options

Choose what the form completion page will say or redirect the member to an existing website URL.


After 5 Seconds Redirect to
If using the software's form completion “Thank You” page, you will have the option to redirect the member after five seconds. Choose to loop the member back to the original form, the newly created user profile, or stay on the page above. Redirection is not possible if directing the new member to an external URL.


Thanks Email Options
Enter the “Thank You” email text in the provided forms. The HTML version is for those members whose email client allows HTML and the text version is for those email clients that do not allow HTML.


Once complete, click the Next button.


Step 4 - Error Message Options

If an error occurs during the sign-up process, enter an error message or use the default settings.


When finished press the Save button.
